Cloth, thread, paper, and earth move through her hands slowly. She stitches. She folds and binds small books. She weaves. She shapes clay into simple vessels that fit the curve of a palm. Her materials are close to the body and close to the ground.
Her practice is one of returning. To a seam. To a form. To a memory. She is attentive to weather, erosion, sediment - to the way time reshapes what seems fixed. Grief, love, aging, and the quiet labor of care surface in this rhythm. Nothing is hurried. Nothing is polished beyond recognition.
She is drawn to what can be held - sewn structures, fragile pages, hand-formed bowls. These objects do not declare. They witness. They carry what is mended and what remains tender.
Teaching, time, and lived experience move quietly beneath the surface. Making becomes devotion: a way of honoring what is fragile, of tending what has been worn thin, of trusting that slowness can hold what is sacred.
